why this exists

Outbound is sold by the month. This is sold by the result.

Deal Baker Ltd exists to take one side of that bet. If the outreach produces nothing, the invoice is nothing.

01effort versus result

The bill is for effort, and effort is the one thing you cannot check

Every way you can currently buy cold outbound charges the same in a month that worked and a month that didn’t. An SDR seat costs what it costs. An agency retainer costs what it costs. A tool subscription costs what it costs. The bill is for effort, and effort is the one thing you cannot check from the outside.

So the whole thing is built around a unit you can check: a named buyer replied to a message you approved and said they want to talk. Not a meeting booked, which can be booked with anyone. Not a lead, which means whatever the seller needs it to mean. Five tests, published, in the contract, and if one of them is missing the line never reaches your invoice.

The rest follows from that. There are no calls to sell you, because the price does the selling. There is no minimum term, because a term is what you need when the work doesn’t hold the client. There is a cap you set before anything is sent, and seven days to strike any line you don’t accept. Every one of those is a term that costs me money when the work is bad, which is the only kind of promise worth reading.

Questions that come up

Will the same BDR pitch my competitor?

No. A BDR works one account at a time within a market, and won’t move to a competitor of yours while your account is open or for ninety days after it closes. Ask me to name your specific competitors in the contract and I will.

Who keeps the connections?

The BDR keeps their own profile and whatever connections came out of it. You keep the target list, the templates, the full threads and the contact details of everyone who replied. If that trade doesn’t work, run the account email-only, where every relationship lands in a mailbox you control.

Can we pause?

Yes, any time, with a week’s notice so the BDR isn’t left mid-thread. Nothing accrues while you’re paused: no seat, no retainer, no minimum.

What if the first warm conversation is bad?

Then you’ve spent two approvals and a sending domain, and you owe nothing. That is the whole cost of finding out.

Can I speak to you before applying?

Write to [email protected] and I’ll answer in writing, usually the same day. There is no call because there is nothing a call would settle that the application doesn’t: I need your URL to say yes or no, and you need the five tests and the catch to decide whether you want me to.

Why is there no client name on this site?

Because there are no clients. Zero accounts, zero warm conversations delivered. That is the fourth item on the catch page, and it is the honest reason the first one is free: you should not be paying to find out whether this works.
